To confidentially collect, quantify and interpret facts, opinions and needs of family caregivers in a way that enables health care products manufacturers, service providers and policy makers to gain insight for their decision making that will drive the innovation of improved products, services, programs and support for America’s more than 25 million caregiving families.

Why TCAP?

You are among more than 25 million family caregivers in the United States. Studies show that caregiving is likely to have a physical and emotional toll on the caregiver. Family caregivers deal with a few or many care providing challenges such as incontinence, impaired mobility, nutrition, respiratory care, skin care and wound care along with financial and legal concerns.

The purpose of TCAP is to assemble a large body of knowledge from caregivers to advise health care manufacturers and service providers as well as policy makers, about their needs, wants and opinions related to caregiving. Unlike one individual survey, a dedicated panel of family caregivers provides an ongoing resource of knowledge, insight and wisdom.

Alper Associates, Inc. a leading health industry consulting firm has formed the The Caregivers Advisory Panel. About Paul Alper

When a caregiver enrolls, we ask certain basic information. Then, as research and answers to questions are needed, there will be other opportunities to participate based on each unique caregiving situation. For example, an adult child caring for a parent who has vision and hearing problems, would not be asked to complete a survey about caring for a child who has cystic fibrosis.

The information shared when answering questions is totally secure, private and confidential. We pledge to never reveal the identity of a Panelist.  Please click here to view our full privacy and confidentiality pledge.

Surveys will use self-administered mail questionnaires (with postage paid reply envelopes provided), telephone interviews, and on-line surveys for Panel members who wish to participate over the internet. Participation in all surveys and products evaluation is voluntary and free.
